Nasir Faruk is a Professor of Telecommunications and Information Technology, Director Directorate of ICT and the Dean Faculty of Computing and Information Technology at Sule Lamido University Kafin Hausa Jigawa State Nigeria. He received the Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at University of Ilorin, Nigeria in 2015, Masters of Science in Mobile & High-Speed Telecommunication Networks with distinction from Oxford Brookes University, Oxford, UK in 2010 and Bachelor of Science in Physics with first class honours from Kano University of Science and Technology (KUST) Wudil, Kano State, Nigeria in 2007 and a certificate in project management from University of Virginia, Darden School of Business, USA. He received numerous merit and recognition awards. In 2018, he was awarded the best researcher of the year in the University of Ilorin with a prize of brand vehicle, in the same year, 2018; he was listed among the 100 leading Telecom & ICT personalities in Nigeria by the ATCON. He received numerous research grants and fellowships. From 2013-2020, he attracted 36 different grants from various funding sources. Prof Faruk has served as Technical Program Committee Chair and member of numerous local and international conferences. He was a fellow of the AFRNIC. He was also 2013 FIRE (Fund for Internet Research and Education) grant award winner. Prof Faruk has been very active in the Internet policy making process of AFRNIC, ICANN, IETF, ISOC and other players in the internet eco system. He is very active member of the open Internet Policy Development Process (PDP). Prof Faruk is currently Chair IEEE ComSoc, Nigeria and co-chair Infrastructure, Access and Connectivity of ISOC, Nigeria. He has author/co-author of over 120 scientific publications.

DR. SALISU GARBA is a Senior Lecturer and Head of Software Engineering Department, Sule Lamido University Kafin Hausa. He received a Bachelor of Science (Computing and Information Technology), Master of Science (Computing and Information Technology) with distinction from the University of Wales, and PhD (Computer Science) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). Prior to joining SLU, he was an IT Specialist at Saro AgroScinces for one year, he was also a lecturer with Informatics Academy for 6 years. He has authored or co-authored many research papers in information technology and software engineering, he is an assistant managing editor of SLUJST. Salisu Garba is currently the Publicity/PRO of IEEE ComSoc, Nigeria. His current research interests include semantic web service, mobile computing, self-adaptive systems, and Internet of Things. He is also a member of the International Association of Engineers (IAENG), Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Computer Professionals of Nigeria (CPN), and the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS).

Dr. Bashir Abdullahi Baba is an academic and researcher with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, a master's in electrical and computer engineering, and a PhD in electrical and electronics engineering. Currently, I work in the Department of Cyber Security at Sule Lamido University, Kafin Hausa. My research focuses on optimal control strategies for managing computer viruses, as well as applications of artificial intelligence in cybersecurity.

Kayode Sakariyah Adewole is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science, University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. He holds National Diploma (ND) in Computer Science from Federal Polytechnic, Ede, with distinction, B.Sc. Computer Science from University of Ilorin with first-class honor, M.Sc. Computer Science from University of Ilorin and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Network Security from University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In 2009, he received a prize as the best overall student of the Department of Computer Science, University of Ilorin. Dr. Adewole has previously worked at the Kwara State University, Malete as an Assistant Lecturer between 2010 and 2012. He joined the service of the University of Ilorin in 2012. In the same year, he was appointed as an Associate Expert to COMSIT Directorate, University of Ilorin. Dr. Adewole received a Letter of Commendation in April 2014 from the Governing Council of the University of Ilorin for timely completion of the Undergraduate Portal project. He has received numerous awards and recognitions both at home and abroad. He has held several positions in the University of Ilorin including Faculty Representative at COMSIT Board, Faculty Representative at COBES Board, Faculty Representative at Faculty of Engineering, and Coordinator of Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science (PGDCS) Programme among others. He is a member of the Science Association of Nigeria (MSAN), member of Nigeria Computer Society (MNCS), member of Computer Professionals Registration Council of Nigeria (MCPN) and member of the International Association of Educators and Researchers (MIAER). Dr. Adewole has several publications in local, national and different international journals including journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science (WoS). He received a certificate of outstanding contribution in reviewing from Elsevier, Netherlands in April 2018. He has served as Technical Program Committee Member of numerous local and international conferences. Dr. Adewole has received research grants and fellowship. He has worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Department of Computing Science, Umea University, Sweden. His research interests include Network Security, Biometrics, Data Privacy, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data Analytics and Data Streaming. He is highly proficient in software development using a wide range of programming languages.

Dr. Abdulkarim Oloyede is a leading African researcher in the field of Wireless Telecommunication, an Associate Professor (Teaching and Research) in the Department of Telecommunication Science, University of Ilorin, Nigeria and was a Post-Doctoral researcher at the University of York, UK. He teaches and supervises research at the undergraduate and Postgraduate level at the University. He received his first degree in Electrical Engineering in 2008. He obtained his Masters and Ph.D. degrees in Telecommunications Engineering at University of York, UK in 2010 and 2015 respectively. He is a Rutherford commonwealth scholar and the first and currently the only winner of the Nigeria Communication Commission (NCC) research fellowship (Oct 2021-Oct 2022). He is an author or co-author of over 100 scientific publications in leading journal and conferences around the world. He was a member of the ICANN At-Large advisory committee (ALAC) (2018-2020), Co-Chair AFRINIC Policy Development Working Group (2019-2021) and Vice Chairman for the ITU-D Telecommunication Development Advisory Group (2018-2025) Representing the African Region and has been representing Nigeria in various ITU meetings since 2016, He is also a Vice Rapporteur for the ITU-D study Question 5/2 (2018-2021) Rapporteur for study question 5/2 on ICT adoption and Digital skills (2022-2025) and an Ambassador for the ICANN Universal Acceptance. He is also a member of the ICANN RSSAC caucus and currently the leader of the Local Perspective WP of the RSACC Caucus. He is a Registered Engineer both in Nigeria with COREN and in the UK. He is also a member of the Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE) and the IEEE. He was a member of the panel that appointed Vice chancellors for the University of York, University of Lagos and Fountain University in 2012, 2017 and 2018 respectively. He was appointed by the Federal Government of Nigeria to represent Nigeria at the ITU. He was the Head of Department of Department of Telecommunication Science University of Ilorin. He has taken a number of courses with GSMA, and the United State Telecommunication Training Institute (USTTI). He has previous attended regional meetings for AFRINIC, RIPE, ARIN and APINIC. He has travelled to over 50 countries across the 5 continents of the world including about 14 African countries.

Agbotiname Lucky Imoize (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Eng. degree (Hons.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Ambrose Alli University, Nigeria, in 2008, and the M.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Lagos, Nigeria, in 2012. He is a Lecturer with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, University of Lagos. Before joining the University of Lagos, he was a Lecturer at the Bells University of Technology, Nigeria. He worked as the Core Networks Products Manager at ZTE, Nigeria, from 2011 to 2012 and as a Network Switching Subsystem Engineer at Globacom, Nigeria, from 2012 to 2017. He was awarded the Fulbright Fellowship as a Visiting Research Scholar at the Wireless@VT Laboratory, Bradley Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Virginia Tech., USA, where he worked under the supervision of Prof. R. Michael Buehrer from 2017 to 2018. He is currently a Research Scholar with Ruhr University Bochum, Germany, under the Nigerian Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) through the Nigerian-German Postgraduate Program. He is the current Vice Chair of the IEEE Communication Society, Nigeria Chapter. He is a Registered Engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers. He has co-edited two books and coauthored over 80 papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences. His research interests include beyond 5G and 6G wireless communications, chaotic communications, and wireless security systems.
